This policy (the "Policy") is designed to inform you about how we use your personal data when collected through our website www.johnpaul.com (the "Site").

Please read this Policy carefully.

 
1.    CONTROLLER AND DATA PROTECTION OFFICER

The company Service Concierge, SAS registered with the RCS de Paris under number B 485 281 232 and whose registered office is located at 64-66 rue des Archives - 75003 Paris ("John Paul", or "we" / "us") is responsible for processing personal data concerning you, collected through the Site.

2.    PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you use the Site, John Paul may collect the personal data you provide to us in the context of sending an enquiry via our Contact form, whether you are an individual or a company interested in our service offering, or a candidate for a position with John Paul.
 
This data includes, as the case may be
- Your first and last name ;
- The name of your organisation or company;
- The subject of your request;
- Your email address.

You may also include personal data in messages you write to clarify your application or request. In any event, you should not include personal data of third parties in such messages unless you have their written consent.
Information that is essential for us to respond to your enquiries is marked with an asterisk. If you do not fill in the relevant fields, we will not be able to respond to your requests.
 
3.    PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Based on your prior consent, your personal data is collected and processed by John Paul through the Site for the following purposes:

- Processing your requests for information about our services and our business;

- Processing your requests and/or commercial proposals when your company wishes to use John Paul's services;

- Processing your applications for our job vacancies which have come to your attention, or your unsolicited applications.
 
4.    HOW LONG YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL BE KEPT

Data is kept for a period not exceeding the time necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, in particular :

- Data collected for the management of your applications to our job offers or your unsolicited applications will be kept for a maximum of 2 years from the last contact you made (for example, when you update your information on the site). However, if you are recruited as a result of your application, your data may be retained for the duration of your employment with John Paul.

- Data collected in connection with any request for information relating to our services will be kept for a maximum of 2 years from the date of your last contact. 

- Data collected in connection with any request and/or commercial proposal from a company will be kept for a maximum of 2 years from the date of your last contact.

These retention periods are without prejudice to the exercise of your rights detailed in section 8 of this Policy.
 
5.    RECIPIENTS OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Outside John Paul, your data may be disclosed to and/or processed by the following categories of recipients:
• Companies of the John Paul Group that may be concerned by the applications you submit via the Site. Thus, when you apply for a job offer via the page, it is legitimate for your personal data to be processed by John Paul and/or the subsidiary of the Group concerned by the job offer to which you have applied, in order to evaluate your application and to communicate with you if necessary.
John Paul has implemented Group-wide security and confidentiality measures to ensure the protection of your data, regardless of the geographical location of the Group subsidiary receiving the data, whether it is located within the European Union or in another country of the world (see section 5 below).

John Paul may share your data with the following service providers who are our subcontractors and who are used by us for the purposes described in section 3:

• For the purposes of technical management of the storage of your personal data, your data will be centralised on the European servers of the Site's host located in Ireland.
•    External recruitment agencies that we may use to manage applications for our job offers or unsolicited applications.
All measures are taken to ensure a high level of security for processing carried out on our behalf by these service providers. Our service providers process your data exclusively in accordance with our instructions and may not under any circumstances make any other use of it or disclose it to any other third party. In particular, service providers are not allowed to use your data for commercial prospecting purposes on their own behalf or on behalf of third parties.

John Paul may also share some or all of your data with a third party, where:
• You have given us your prior consent;
• If we are required to do so by law, by a mandatory request from a public authority or in connection with legal proceedings;
• If we sell or transfer all or part of our business or assets, for example in a merger or sale. Operations of this nature may legitimately involve prior audits by professionals and the implementation of appropriate safeguards and security measures to ensure the confidentiality of the data they access. In the event of a transfer or assignment of our assets containing your personal data, we will implement information procedures to ensure that you can exercise your rights to your data.
 
6.    DATA TRANSFER OUTSIDE THE EU

Within the framework of the operation of the Site, no transfer of your personal data outside the European Union is carried out in accordance with the Data Protection Act.
Your personal data is exclusively hosted in the European Union and we do not transfer your personal data outside the European Union.

However, in the context of applications received via the Site, your data will be processed and applications transferred to the relevant branch in the European Union or outside the European Union in accordance with Section 5 above.

 
7.    DATA SECURITY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

John Paul takes all necessary measures to preserve the confidentiality and security of personal data processed by itself or on its behalf by third parties, and to prevent them from being distorted, damaged, destroyed or accessed by unauthorised third parties.
Technical and organisational security measures in line with the state of the art, particularly with regard to information systems, have been introduced.
However, John Paul does not control all the risks associated with the operation of the Internet and draws the attention of Internet users to the existence of possible risks inherent in its use and operation.

You may exercise the following rights:
• The right to access your personal data free of charge, to request rectification, deletion or portability;
• The right to withdraw your consent for the future, for all or part of the processing concerned;
• The right to object to the processing of your data or to request its restriction;
• The right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority;
